Marcus,
No real difference that I've seen from an RF point of view. Just make
sure you get the correct ones for your cable, the diameter of the
internal hole needs to match the size of the dialectric in your cable.
Some of the cheaper ones that don't specify a cable type can be the
wrong size for CT100.
I think I saw a comment from someone on this list about kinking the
center conductor (although I cannot find the reference now) when
fitting an F connector. I definately would not do this as you could
damage the female connector on the equipment you are connecting to.
I'd just cut the center conductor at an angle to form a point.
