Leslie,

I use HV and CBus extensively. Like Frank, I've signed up for the
public protocol and it works fine for basic control. I only
have 'normal' Homevision and bought an additional serial card with
the PC Interface (using serial port). I've only been able to use it
for lighting, so even though Clipsal published through their forums
what to do with Temperature Sensors, I've been unable to read them
(yet, though haven't tried very hard). I'll invest in Kevin's stuff
when it's around, as it'll be better and save a fair bit of HV
coding, although what I've done so far is pretty easy. It gets
trickier if you want to look at status reports and mess around with
them.

Ben
