What, to that unit I posted up? Not as far as I know. The board allows you
to connect a single IDE hard disc to a network (via ethernet) or to a
singl=
e
PC (via USB). The USB port on that board is a "B" type so you
wouldn't be
plugging drives or printers into it. I believe it can act as an FTP server
if used in NAS mode.

It's =A3500 for a quiet, single box, prebuilt NAS solution with a nice

configuration interface and flexible setup. For someone who is able to
spen=

time buying individual components and building a system and not really
worr=
y
if it's not as quiet and compact as the Terastation then perhaps you could
say its overpriced but then again that=92s not really where the
Terastation=
is
aimed. If you had to provide a physically small NAS solution for someone
else or for a company (i.e. your investment of time to implement the
solution was accountable and there were "support" implications
too) then in
that situation the Terastation is a budget solution.
