Darren

Like most things, you get what you pay for.

I've had the same Fluke for the last 15 years. It's been dropped from
ceilings and generally abused as it's been carted around the country and
the world in my rucksack. Whenever the calibration has been checked,
it's never been more than a couple of % out.

A couple of things.

What's the range of DC current you need to measure?
What level of accuracy is acceptable?

If the accuracy really isn't important and you are going to treat it
carefully, buy anything that suits the range you need.

If you are going to take it "in the field" and you want (need) it
to
work reliably, pay more and get a recognised brand - As you no doubt
guessed, for me, that would be Fluke.

HTH

Regards

Neil
