Steve,

I've found in several installations that you can't split the aerial signal
un-amplified and feed into the MCE tuners. I usually take the aerial feed
into a distribution amp in node 0/loft, then run two amplified feeds to the
MCE box. This avoids any of the loss you're experiencing.

Subject: [ukha_d] MCE and aerial signal problem?

I have a Media Center with two tuners and seem to keep loosing
channels... I re-tune and sometimes get them back again...

I am wondering if its a weak signal problem.... I am thinking of
getting a aerial amplifier and not sure where to site it....

i.e. I have the main aerial feed coming into the loft and spilt there
off to the lounge and four bedrooms when it gets to the lounge it then
splits to the TV and then split again into the two MCE tuners (I would
like to add more tuners to MCE in the future!).

Where should I connect the amplifier?

Steve
