Stephen,
=20
I bought mine direct from cinetix.
=20
Didn=92t get any of the icoves, before my time on the list, how much did
you get them for incidentally?
=20
Just tried to download the datasheets from colorkinetics with no luck,
but as they accept standard DMX512 I can=92t forsee any problems with the
cinetix unit, or indeed any other conforming DMX generator.
=20
Cheers

I would recommend this unit
HYPERLINK
"http://www.cinetix.de/interface/english/usdmxgen.htm"http://www.cinetix
.de/interface/english/usdmxgen.htm for easy generation of
DMX from a PC.

Channel numbers, levels and fade times can all be set with simple ascii
commands.

James

No affiliation etc=85.

Has anyone done much with their iColor Cove units and used DMX to
control
them? Mine are still sitting in the corner until I find some cheap and
relatively easy way to control them.

Link to the iColor site -

kinetics.com/products/pro/lights/cove/

I don't know much about DMX, and I'm sure there are a few on the list
that
will have used it more than once .... so can I use a DMX controller made
for
other kit to control the iColor units? A couple of fairly cheap
controllers
currently on offer with CPC ->
