Yes they are called bus couplers.

Officially need to be placed within 1 metre of switch, but i believe people
have them running further away.

Can then use momentary grid switch in traditional style to do on/off/dim
etc.

Hi Guys

can you use normal switches on a CBUS setup or are you tied to using
CBUS switches?

( i mean is there a way to wire a normal on/off switch to the cbus units
(obviously they dont talk CBUS))
