We have to use the client's mounts - they're shipped as a package, and
there's all sorts of liabilities that we dodge by only using the brackets
supplied.  I'll check with the BRE, thanks for the pointer.

You could try the BRE (Building Research Establishment) in Watford
(Garston)

They should have loads of different walls to test on, they certainly
have lots of chimneys and window frames on in all weathers whan I go
down there.

Further OT! Are you stuck to using your clients wall mounts or could
someone supply you with some more cost effective ones? Mail me off
list if you are interested.
