RE: [ukha_d] sky + £49
Not anything particular as far as I know, - you need to have one of the
"pr=
emium channel" packages to get the Sky+ service for free, otherwise it
cost=
s =A310/month.
I'm not aware of any other conditions. - it might be different if you are
s=
till within the initial 12 months of your multiroom sub though, - since
you=
aren't at liberty to just cancel it in that case...

Jason,
When I spoke to the chap at Sky, he initially told me the same thing...
To which I replied, - suppose I cancel my multiroom subscription, (which,
a=
s=20
I am past the 12 month contractual obligation period, I am perfectly at=20
liberty to do...), - and then immediately re-subscribe...
He went away and had a word with his manager, and came back and accepted=20
that I was quite correct after all, and that I *CAN* have the same offer=20
conditions, - however, no-one at Sky had actually thought to anticipate
suc=
h=20
a likelihood, and so the billing system wasn't set up to accept it.
What they've had to do is charge me =A399, - which is what their system is
=
set=20
up to process, and then immediately refund me =A350 of that. -
"allegedly"=
=20
this was all done whilst I was on the phone... -- call me Mr. cynical,
but=
=20
we shall see... - I shall be looking out for the =A350 refund to appear on
=
my=20
statement at exactly the same time as the =A399 charge appears....
Give them another call and press your case...
