Hi Kevin

I've just started playing with the Tempsensors by searching the Cbus
Forums http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/index.php?

They seem to be an old design

Seems though you cant alter the set point :-(

I don't think you can use the getunitparameter with the PAC

The touchscreen allows it supposedly but only if Homegate/touchscreen
have a button monitoring it

At present I'm passing my Homevision temp values to Ctouch via a serial
connection

Ashleigh has posted the info you need though I have sent you a PM

Mike

Hi Mike - have you got the PAC to be able to read C-Bus temp sensors ?
- I haven't tried it but I was reading this line in the PICED docs ..

4.15.16 GetUnitParameter Function.....

....returns the value of a C-Bus unit parameter. This is *not*
applicable for use with the Pascal Automation Controller

.. the parameter types are ..

1 ptTemperature Temperature C or F Temperature Sensor
2 ptLightLevel LightLevel (Lux) Light Level Sensor

Haven't got to far into this so maybe there's another way....
C-Bus sensors do not broadcast their current value on C-Bus, instead
they have to be interrogated for current value (to save bandwidth)
