The alleged write endurance of the PAC EEPROM.
Unless the user program is stored in the microcontroller's program memory
(which probably have limited write cycles), it is unlikely that a modern
EEPROM would have anything less than hundred's of thousands of write
cycles. Indeed, one would be hard pressed to buy an EEPROM with write
endurance of less than 10,000 nowadays.
