I have found this document which shows how the AUX 183 code is mapped on to
MX-500 buttons - http://www.smarthome.com/manuals/8034_map.pdf

The devices and on/off/dim/bright all appear on the LCD buttons in the
right places (not a great mapping, but I have three remotes, so easy to
change)

But the document refers to MX-500 buttons called "On" and
"Off" - neither
the power nor system power button seem to send anything for AUX 183. Which
buttons could they mean?
