[OT] Power to a portacabin

Totally OT, but I guess some here may have done similar to create an office
when building / renovating ?

I've been asked how to get power to a portacabin, there's power in a nearby
stable block.

I'm assuming an overhead wire will be the easiest rather than digging
trenches.

Is this a DIY job or would it need formal certification or does that depend
on the use of the property where the thing is sited ?

Main requirement (at this stage) seems to be light and tea making.

Any suggestions welcome, probably better off list.

Thanks in advance
