Agreed; we use Plantronics headsets for Skype in the office (they sometimes
come bundled with a =E2=82=AC10 SkypeOut credit). The mono sets are less

tenner, and the USB version nearer =C2=A330. www.ebuyer.com

OK place to buy them, if you can tolerate th=

crappy customer service.

the better headsets =E2=80=93 mine is stereo with a noise cancelling mike,

good for
general music & DVD=E2=80=99s as well as for Skype and cost around

Actually a post for a friend, he wants to buy his son a skype type
package (Inc hardware) to run on his laptop whilst at university.

(He's got NTL cable in his digs if that makes a difference)

Any recommendations for a simple, reliable hardware package?

Cheers

Rob
