Subject: [ukha_d] X10 and Ir remote

I'm thinking of buying an IR7243 Infra-Red -> X10 Converter to use with
our MX-500 remotes and Powermid Ir repeaters. Initially I'm just going
to control a few lights etc.

How can I teach the MX-500 the codes? There is no PC interface. Is
there a cheap X10 Ir remote? I have only seen RF ones.

I assume I can add an RF -> X10 unit later if I want to control stuff
from locations where there is no Powermid?

Thanks
