Hi All,
I have a new electricity meter with a supposed pulsed output. The meter
case
shows a picture of a transistor with the collector and emmiter available
externally via screw down terminals.
I have a pulse counter with 2 screw down terminals that increments the
count
when the terminals are shorted.
Wiring the 2 together doesn't work.
>From my school days I seem to remember you might need some current on
the
collector to cause an avalanche to make the transistor into a switch or
something like that?
What do I have to do to make these play together - no doubt a resistor
and/or capacitor is involved!!
Thanks
Chris
