Sorry to rake over an old post, but I can't find the chipset recommended by
someone despite extensive trawling of the archives.  A mate has a 2Mb ADSL
connection which is unreliable - he onbly has a crappy modem supplied by
Tiscali and I will pitch up with my Vigor 2600 some time this week to see
if
that works more reliably.  Someone posted a new chipset that was
recommended
with noisy lines.  If you could repost I'd appreciate it - Ideally with
some
makes/models that have it built in.
