I have being finding too much mail goes missing with my ISPs filter so have
deactivated it - was trapping around 300 spams a day. I dont know why they
cant
simply have it reject certain message encodings at the server level, theres
no
way I can read something coming in in chinese/korean which amounts to about
2/3rds of the spam. Filtering client side means that I have to wait like
you.
Leavign the PC on 24/7 helps, since it means that its coming in as a
trickle,
rather then a flood when I get around to checking it.
