can have a incoming telephone number in the uk and us with those services ?

If you don't need lots of advanced functionality, under your own
control, then you don't need to run your own asterisk server - just
register a SIP client (of your choice, hard or soft phone) with a
service provider (of your choice).

Personally, I've used Gradwell and VoIPtalk - both seem good.
