RE: Ceiling speakers - how many
Hi
The the Fire Hood and back can below. Can these be purchased online as ive
never seen them. I assume its to slow fire moving between floors?
Ive got 2 lots of ceiling speakers in but havent got anything over them.

Remember that the actual POSITION in the ceiling (or more correctly the
reflection from the side walls) will have at least as big an influence on
the sound as the characteristics of the speaker itself. Can assist if you
wish, but main rule is NEVER to position a speaker midway along one of the
dimensions. So NOT on a centre line in the room!!!
Suggest you listen to a pair properly demonstrated first.
Also suggest you give a serous listen to Proficient (declared interest as
the UK importer. Happy to put you in touch with a demo)
Even in small rooms stereo is infinitely more satisfying than mono.
remember that several brands do offer a single speaker with two tweeters:
these sound surprisingly good.
don't forget a fire hood or back can.
