These devices came out of a previous thread for door locking.=20
I reckon you could bury a couple of these solenoids into the floor and
have=
Cbus/Comfort energise them to raise/lower the planks ? They have 25mm trav=
el, although you could increase this with a lever mechanism etc. Arranging

the hole in the floor & plank-travel so that the planks raise
vertically, r=
ather than a sloping ramp is maybe better. Let me know if you want a

Top idea, found www.sempal.co.uk who do a 4-solenoid kit for =A376.  It
has=
4 solenoids with 25mm bolt travel. Apparently it just needs a 1/2 second 1=
2v pulse to close and an inverted pulse to open. Should be able to work

t one out (famous last words).
