Extension Electrics

We're currently going through the legals on a house purchase, and have
plans for a relatively simple extension (kitchen/family room) out the
back. Those plans include some HA - most likely CBUS lighting (and
retro-fit to (at least) the existing lounge/diner) and some audio.

Question is; how do I find a builder that has a sparks that doesn't
think I'm bonkers; if it weren't for Part P, I'd get a builder just to
do the walls/roof/floor, and I'd do all the rest myself. How do I
sensibly explain to a builder that I want him to quote for some fancy
wiring (ie star-wired back to a new consumer unit), and I'll provide
the "dimmers" and "switches" and tell him how to wire
it up!?

Alternatively, if there's anyone on-list covering the Southampton area
that can do this, then please contact me off-list.
