I have had one of these for about a month now - the case is=20
reasonably well made and finished and no more "butt ugly" than
most=20
items of that ilk - I am not sure it is supposed to sit on the coffee=20
table.

It is certainly not designed for hot swapping - I haven't tried to=20
get into the case, but heard it is quite a challenge to get the=20
drives in and out.

It is pretty quiet and generates very little heat and has run=20
continously on my desk without a hitch. It is serving 4 pcs and 3 MCE=20
pcs with video and music with no problems.

There is a quick status module that you can call up on a PC and a=20
reasonably comprehensive web based management tool.

This is no EMC enterprise NAS but does what it says on the tin, and=20
in my case 720g of Raid 5 storage for about =A3600 with management=20
doesn't seem too bad. I think I got it from Nicknows
