Gareth,
I'm lucky enough to have a dedicated room for my Node0. I was more
interested on the comments from estate agents and prospective buyers...
Did you manage to sell them a maintenance contract ?

The guy of the couple liked it - but really wasnt his priority for
buying
the house. Certainly very kid-friendly. They couldnt get to anything.
But at this house we are at now of course, it's all cabled back to Node
0
elsewhere. Still very kid friendly.
Sure you cant have Node 0 elsewhere ?

Gareth,
Would be interested to know how potential buyers took to your HA?

I have jsut bought my first house and am getting ready to "automate it
up". Having just dismantled the fireplace I was wondering if it is a
good place to house all my av equipment.
It has ventilation, cabling can be passed up the chimney to the first
floor, I could have a glass door to keep everything behind and then
use the KAT5 syste to pump everythig around and have my network hub in
there as well.
thoughts please
