Only had experience of the Linksys WAP54G and WRT54G, but found them to be
very
good.

Supports WEP and WPA (some still don't support WPA, even in the latest
firmware).

No need to stick to the same manufacturer, unless you use any of the
proprietary
"turbo" modes.

Having lost my temper with a Netgear 802.11G access point which seems to be
absolutely rubbish, I'm in the market for one (or maybe) two new access
points.  I'm using a Belkin 802.11G card in the PC, should I just buy a
Belkin access point for compatibility or something else?  Also looking for
the cheapest price.
