At the moment it doesn't - however I think Patrick is posting his xAP
Asterisk stuff anytime now and once that is there it should be possible
to pick up the appropriate xAP messages to tie in with xAPTel /
xAPSwitchboard. Actually that's a bit of an unfair assumption as all of
the support would be in xAPSwitchboard which is James' application - but
I feel sure he'd be keen to support it. It may even work in a basic
fashion already if P's using the standard CID schema

BTW xAPTel supports Skype too , in a true multiline fashion so if you
use Skype IN or Skype OUT for PSTN access via Skype then these calls too
appear in xAPSwitchboard, and you can even call back PSTN originated
calls using Skype. The Instant Messenger side of Skype is being added
shortly although full who's online / last online messages are sent via
xAP already.

Also - just to mention the UK CID Modem side of xAPTel needs an update
to add more models and work better, FTTB Meteor and Pegasus units are
the recommended incoming callerID devices currently although any 'AT'
style modem can be used to supplement these to provide dialback fetaures
from xAP or Switchboard. The Intel modem is not specifically supported
but I'm sure it could be , but as it will probably connect via Asterisk
in your case it's probably not an issue. Actually.... there may even be
a possibility of using xAP based CID info to provide CID info to
Asterisk with a bit of help from Patrick. Any thoughts on whether this
is possible (or sensible !) P ?
