Re: OT - Very simple serial application



Thanks for everyone's help with this.

I now have it all working using the simple batch file commands
suggested.  I don't know anything about DOS, my first OS was Win95!
The only thing I had to do was to send a filename to the COM port to
ensure that a carriage return was sent.  The TV now switches inputs
automatically, six button pushes reduced to one!

If I had more complicated stuff to do I would definitely use girder.
