Re: Tiger-tastic
Hi Tony
I agree on Tiger - seems very impressive so far, though my PowerBook at=20
home is starting to feel a little sluggish (good job I've just ordered=20
an iMac). I'm about to install it on my dual 2ghz G5 at work and will=20
report back on what it's like. As for Widgets, you might want to join=20
up to the Apple Developer Connection (free) where you can download lots=20
of info about Widgets and programming the Mac in general. Xcode 2 that=20
is on the Tiger DVD has all the tools you'll need - I've done a=20
pointless Widget that just display some text and has a custom icon just=20
to see what's involved and it's fun to play around with.
You can join at: http://developer.apple.com/
I have to say though, it's crazy that Tiger comes with Xcode dev tools=20
free, yet you have to pay =A319.99 for QT Pro...
Cheers
Tim.
