According to the wife - the forum are as responsible for their content as
the person who posted it. The business in question would have a case
against
both **if** the comment was not true. Given it is almost impossible for the
forum owners to verify this they must take the safe route I guess.

know they can do whatever they like as it's their board and I agreed to
their conditions but was wondering from a legal point of view.

They are making it worse for themselves, as that means anything they dont
delete, they are agreeing with.
