Chris
you don't actually need to unpack the units and wire them up, you can
program this entirely in software and use toolkit to match serials to your
programmed configuration.
There is a good tutorial on doing it here
http://www.cbusforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=304
Did a 20 unit install the other day, doing a 90 unit one in a few months
time, it works really well.

Subject: [ukha_d] CBUS advice required
I have a large number of CBUS units to install in my house (50+) and was
looking for some advice. They are the usual mix of dimmers, relays,
switches
PIR's etc.
I think it makes sense to set each unit up before they get put in the new
house - is that correct? That way when I turn everything on (once
installed)
there is no need to search out each device and unrtavel the network. Also
I
will know that device 7 is the bathroom switch etc.
Only problem I see is its an enourmous ammount of wiring and unwiring.
Any comments from people that have been through this?
Chris
