Expose consist of several actions.

Show all windows
Show all of this application's windows
Hide all windows

You can use the F9-F11 keys, or map any corner of the screen to trigger
any one of those actions.

So, enable a "Hide all windows" hot corner, and you can expose
the
desktop just by shoving the pointer into a corner.

Even quicker/more productive than the Windows menu option really (and
ISTR there's also a menu version on the Mac somewhere...)

It's not perfect though - sometimes I wish you could adjust the
sensitivity of the hot corner. I have a habit of "flicking" the
mouse to
find the pointer, which can inadvertently trigger the hot corner...
