That may be, but some ppl WANT a maximise button ;)
It just seems too easy to lose windows because they are wee buggers hidden
behind a ton of other windows :/
(And yes, I know about expose, but it doesn't always do what I want)

Is there a "show desktop" thing? I seem to need to click on
things on the
desktop more with the mac than I do with windows (ie, basically never in
windows).

Does it? very subtle. Need better eyes ;)

dunno, not in front of mac atm, but based on what you said, "+"
is
misleading. Sometimes the green thing makes windows smaller, which is a
tad confusing....

So, is tiger faster on the mini then?

BTW, as u may remember, I stuck with my 256MB memory for a few weeks
(longer than expected as it turns out - you wouldn't believe how difficult
it is to find a thin pallett knife :( ) before upgrading to 1GB.
Boy does it make a difference! I was surprised that even with basically
bugger all running, it seemed snappier having the extra memory in there.
Highly recommended upgrade.

cheers,

T.
