Sky+ upgrade

I'm getting more and more picture freezes during recorded programme
playback
on my Sky+ box. I'm thinking it is time to replace the hard drive before
it
fails altogether. Looking at a couple of the sites that have the
instructions to do this they recommend using a 5400rpm Maxtor drive. These
seem to be quite rare with 7200rpm being the norm. They are also
significantly more expensive!
The cheapest Maxtor 250gb 5400rpm drive I've found this morning is £135
whereas you can get the equivalent 7200rpm for less than £90.
Anyone upgraded their Sky+ with a 7200rpm drive or care to recommend any
other drives??
