Electricity travels at the speed of light (or almost)...

...sure, an additional 20 or 30m of cable will add more of a delay but I
think you may have problems perceiving it! :-)

I'd expect you're more likely to see lip-sync issues because of the fact
that Sky and Freeview receivers are often prone to unsyncing themselves!
