Hi Noel

I do exactly that and have 6.1 in the lounge fed from an amp in my Node 0.
I
don't suffer any lip synch issues (Other than Sky+, but that's nothing to
do
with cable lengths!). You can see my Node 0 here:

If you move your surround amp to the local zone you're then left with the
messy issue of piping the sources from Node 0 to those zones which would be
expensive and hard work.

HI all,
First post...be gentle please!

Am planning my forthcoming Node 0 and whole house setup but one
questions keeps coming back to me,

If I have all my sources, PC, Tivo etc etc in the attic or under
stairs whatever, I want stereo sound in bathroom, kitchen etc, but
full surround in Lounge and bedroom. So do I have surround amps in
Node 0 and run the speaker cables all the way back there...(In which
case Im thinking theres gonna be a hell of a lip sync delay) or do I
take the hit and have just the one box on location in each room?

Look forward to your recommendations on this one.

Thanks
Noel
