They seem to need about 0.3-0.4MHz of emptyness on either side of them to

come thru without the other stations bleeding ontop of them in my

To make matters worse, that means you have to constantly re-tune them when
driving around.

I would suggest getting a pioneer head deck and making use of the aux in on
the
back of it. Some panasonics have RCA sockets for it, and I have seen some
JVCs
with a 3.5mm socket on the faceplate.
