RE: MainLobby - Xap - CBus

I'm using it so ........ I can connect CBUS to mainlobby. I love Mainlobby
as a front end but it lacks the 'girder/homeseer' scripting etc. Homeseer
also has a nice phone interface which links into mainlobby too.

Chris

What are you using Homeseer for - i see a lot of people talking about it
and
using within the MainLobby forums, though i couldnt really see a particular
use for it - maybe time to rethink....

I'm using CBUS - to - xAP - HomeSeer - Mainlobby

The CBUS appears as devices in HomeSeer. Then use the homeseer plugin for
Mainlobby.

I suppose this question is really directed to Kevin Hawkins et al.

Has any consideration been given to creating a Xap plugin for MainLobby ?

After trying loads of different Front Ends I've settled on MainLobby as it
is great for controlling my DVD collection with a Viewsonic AirPanel - i
believe other people compare the setup to 2 way Creston screen that cost
way
more that this modest setup - £150 ML - £180 AirPanel etc.

To be able to create a really nice looking GUI for CBus with MainLobby
would
be quite easy and would certainly look impressive. I currently have a
USB-UIRT pointing into my AV cupboard which has a Neo 8gang hung in the
back
of it which gives me at least 6 scenes, 1 off, and floodlight control.

I know a lot of people have tried MainLobby, but for any who havent its
certainly one of the better front ends IMHO.

Ohh and i have also got the Geovision HTML API thing running in a little
window with ML too, so any touchscreen or on Plasma has access to all CCTV
camera's around the house, all in a SWMBO friendly manner.
