Not in my experience. You can have directional RF antennas, but I suspect
that their marketing department had a 'blue-sky' moment and forgot about
actually telling the truth!  The only way would be to have a series of RFID
capture points, (i.e. lounge, front door, front gate) to build up a route
profile.

Is it a feature of ther homeseer software that lets you detect where
the rfid tag is? It says it can warn you when the tag goes near the
road, or enters a certain room. Is RFID technology able to do that?
give you distance & direction?
