Someone was saying about Linux not seeing all their firewire drives a while
ago.

Well I've been trying to move over to linux this weekend and a couple of
friends (now affectionately referred to as "TLBs" - Tame Linux
Biatches)
have spent much of the weekend SSH'd into my machine trying to work out the
problem and have come up with this:

...in layman's terms it's broken. :-(

Hopefully someone will fix it.
