Problems going from stereo to mono

  • Subject: Problems going from stereo to mono

I've got a few of these amps - the Sonos ones - and I'm having issues
plumbin in my single ceiling speakers to the stereo output.

The lounge speakers are a pair and work fine. The dining room, kitchen,
and games room have one speaker. To feed a mono signal, ive just looped
both positive connections and both negatives together - they then go to
the speaker itself.

Thing is, the dining room works fine - but the kitchen and games room only
have one channel coming out of them (easily tested by shifting the output
balance to left or right).

So, assuming the amp inside doesnt like me doing this - is there a simple
addon i could use to correctly merge left and right into one channel ?
