I used the bottom pair shown on the page - however the boxes are big,
not in the least discreet. You do need a proper krone insertion tool,
and you can also get a handy test point lead which allows you to make
temporary connections to any pair of connections. Pre-cut labels are
available, and the IDC connector strips themselves are available in
different colours, so the whole thing can be very manageable.

In my installation, I terminated the incoming cables on one set of IDC
connectors, and the outgoing cables on another set of IDC connectors,
and then "patched" between them. This worked well, allowing the
wiring
scheme to evolve with the minimum of hassle. I also pre-wired some of
the IDC connectors as "bus bars" to allow for multi drop of some
signals.

If I did it again, I wouldn't locate the junction box at floor level -
it makes the wiring process far more painful than it needs to be!
