well put David! software is always a problem with products like
this. They can have millions of I/O but if you cant do simple things
like control some logic when inputs happen then you may just as well
through it in the bin. I have always said homevision for me was the
bench mark for a simple unit with vast logic capability. OK its like
a record player now in todays standards but many of us still use
LP's But if you wanted to do the funky REAL world stuff HV could do
it. AND NOT A BLOODY PC INSITE!!!! except programming! I dont want
xap xpl html python bla bla bla. The only thing I want to do is set
the box thing up and use a PC when I want to tweek it or control it
from something simple like a web page. My ultimate goal would be a
TV interface like homevision with a simple remote, obviously we have
moved on abit from black screens and white text but im sure you get
my point NO PC.

ah sod it will order one tomorrow and see what I can do with it.....
