Just to throw another 26" LCD into the pile ... I've been looking at
the
VideoSeven LTV26C which were =A3599

Contrast Ratio typ.  600:1=20
Brightness typ.  600 cd/m=B2=20
Response Time  25 ms=20
Viewing Angle H/V  170=B0/170=B0=20
Resolution  1280 x 768 (Wide XGA)=20=20
Warranty  2 years Pick-Up Service=20
Speakers  2x 14 Watt=20=20

Spec also says it supports HDTV ... Will this make much difference on
something that's only 768 vertical pixels anyway ?=20

On the up side it comes with DVI and VGA.  On the down side I'm not sure
about that 25ms response time.

The 32" version V7 LTV32D seems to have a better response time 18ms
and
viewing angle 176deg but not quite as bright 500cd/m2. Although at =A3900
you're starting to get into the plasma price band.
