Stupid SVideo Graphics Card question

Probably about to show amazing levels of stupidity here....

Have been using my HTPC for last couple of years via DVI output to Plasma -
works lovely.

Since buying a Viewsonic AirPanel i'm using Mainlobby to play more and more
DVD's - again works Lovely, but getting in trouble for SWMBO not being able
to watch in Kitchen while cooking dinner :)

Fine i though, get a graphics card with TV out to pipe round rest of house
-
now i'm stuck

My current and most cards i look at have SVideo as their TV out - now comes
the stupid question....

Does SVideo carry audio as well ? - My only option i can see is to get an
SVideo to Scart lead, and then connection to an RF modulator to get it into
distribution amp.

Am i going about this totally wrong ? - is there such a thing as a Graphics
Card with RF Modulated out and DVI ? - Do i know what i'm talking about ? -
Does anyone really care ?
