One of the fun things I do is showing 35mm movies at the local Town
Hall.

I can assure you that projectors dont make "flickering" sounds,
even
though the image does indeed flicker 50 times a second (assuming you
have a two blade shutter). They do make a fair old racket though,
more a clatter than a flicker... :-)
