Hi Darren

I tried to get one while in the US last week without any luck.

I tried various places in the Bay area and they all thought I was=20
from another planet. Fry's tried to sell me a Pinnicle show centre=20
but eventualy managed to find records of the linksys product but had=20
no stock. I tried to get the XBox product as a second option but had=20
no luck with this either. I think this is a bleeding edge product=20
even in the US. There does not seem to be much discount on either of=20
these products at the moment, they are around $300 with tax so I=20
would assume =A3250-300 if and when we get them. I think they need to=20
come down to =A3100-150.

As far as I am aware HP have no plans to sell the current product in=20
the UK. I do think this will develop as an option, what I would=20
really like is a unit with a basic DVD player built in as the current=20
products have limited functionality in the DVD space. I want to=20
replace my TIVO but I am not conviced that MCE2005 quite cuts it at=20
the moment, it is just not as stable.

I wil let you know if I have any more info.=20

Regards
Ian=20
