Lee,

I use Tag&Rename for all my tagging.

Never had to do what your friend needs so tried an experiment:

Removed all tags from one of my albums so nothing to identify what the
album
or tracks were.
Went to 'Tools' ; 'Get Album titles from freedb'
It came back with a list of possible album matches.
3 further mouse clicks and album had full ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags.

Only requirement is that the tracks should be in the same order in the
folder as they are on the album

Worked a treat!
