I'm firmly in the camp of preferring a mailing list.  However, a
further suggestion...

Is it possible for the forums to post a copy of the relevant message
to this list each time a forum message is posted?  I'm thinking here
of retaining UKHA_D as a copy of all forum messages with a rider that
all replies needed to be sent to the forums - Make it so that no user
can post to UKHA_D?

Hey, the forum software could even post these messages out directly -
complete with a track back to the actual message on the forum so that
peeps could reply.

What say you?
