Opps - I stand corrected - I just noticed it installing the JRE as part of
its installation!

As an example of javas power, we wrote a system (200,000+ lines of code) in
java that has been running for a year on 32 bit wintel. We just switched to
large 64 bit linux servers. It took 30 mins to do the switch - Thats pretty
bloody impressive. This included back end servers and front end
applications
and a database!
