try Asterisk@home.
I used it the other week and was up and running in about 15minutes.
Comes complete with linux distr - just install onto a pc and run.
all the config is done with the browser pretty much.

Morning,
We have 2 offices with a leased line between the offices. What I need
to do is sort out some sort of VOIP connectivity between the offices.
I'd like to use some sort of soft phone application on people PC's, and
would guess I would need to have some sort of server. There is no
requirements at this time to connect this to PSTN lines.
Anyone got an ideas/recommendations on how this can be done. My first
thought was asterisk, but my knowledge there is poor too.
Discuss... ;-)
